Brand Website Inaccessible
Why This Rejection Happens
The TCR automated bots or manual reviewers attempted to visit your website URL but failed. This could be due to a 404/500 error, password protection, geo-blocking, or simply a typo in the URL submitted.
Common Triggers
-
Broken URL or Typo: Entering "https://example.con" instead of ".com", or including a trailing slash that breaks the redirect.
-
Under Construction / Password Protected: Reviewers must see a live, functional business website. "Coming Soon" pages are often rejected.
-
Geo-Blocking: If your server blocks traffic from outside your country, international reviewers (often used by TCR/Carriers) cannot access it.
-
Aggressive Firewalls: Bot protection services (like Cloudflare high security mode) may block the automated verification crawler.
Step-by-Step Fixes
Test the URL Externally
Don't just test on your own WiFi. Use a tool like DownForEveryoneOrJustMe or try accessing it via mobile data to ensure it's publicly accessible.
Remove Restrictions
Temporarily disable "Coming Soon" modes, password protection, and aggressive geo-blocking during the vetting period (typically 3-5 days).
Update TCR Profile
If the URL was typed incorrectly, correct it in the Brand Profile. If you do not have a website, use a valid social media profile (Facebook/LinkedIn business page) as a fallback, though a dedicated domain is preferred for higher trust scores.
Check Your Link Status
Use our URL validator to ensure your site is ready for vetting.
