Prohibited Hate Speech
Why This Rejection Happens
This is the specific code for Hate Speech under the SHAFT policy. Your content (website, samples, or brand identity) was found to promote violence, discrimination, or hostility against protected groups based on race, religion, gender, etc. This leads to an immediate and permanent ban.
- Using racial slurs or derogatory terms in samples.
- Linking to known hate group manifestos.
- Promoting violence against specific communities.
- Using "coded" hate symbols or language identified by watchdogs.
Root Cause Analysis
Primary Triggers
- Zero Tolerance: Unlike other rejections, this is not about fixing a typo. If the intent of the brand is deemed hateful, the brand is blacklisted.
- False Positives: Sometimes legitimate news organizations or educational non-profits quoting hate speech for reporting purposes get flagged. Context must be proven.
Step-by-Step Remediation
Check Content
If you are promoting hate speech, you cannot use 10DLC.
Appeal Context (If Valid)
If you are a 501(c)(3) monitoring hate groups, ensure your Campaign Description clearly states: "Educational content monitoring extremism."
