Why texting compliance is different for healthcare providers

Does the TCPA healthcare exemption cover appointment reminders?

Certain healthcare messages from covered entities qualify under FCC rules, subject to conditions such as frequency limits and opt-out. The TCPA for Healthcare module explains the conditions.

Do we need a BAA with our SMS vendor?

If the vendor creates, receives, maintains or transmits PHI on your behalf, a BAA is generally required. The BAA module covers when and how.
