- Federal Jurisdiction: Telecommunications networks are federally regulated. Carriers cannot knowingly facilitate the sale of Schedule I drugs, regardless of state laws.
- Grey Market Substances: Substances like Kratom or certain Sarms are often flagged because they exist in a regulatory grey area that carriers prefer to avoid entirely.
Step-by-Step Remediation
Cease 10DLC Efforts
If you are selling THC products, you cannot use 10DLC. There is no "fix" other than changing your entire business model. SMS is closed to this vertical.
Sanitize for CBD (If Applicable)
If you were flagged for Cannabis but actually sell hemp-derived CBD (federally legal), you must prove it. Ensure your website clearly states "<0.3% THC" on all products. Remove any imagery that looks like marijuana buds. Implement an Age Gate (21+).
